Custom Jewelry Work

I love doing custom work, and I love it even more when the customer comes to me with an idea for something they want. A lot of these ideas have turned into regulars in my shop or are jumping off points for other ideas.  This gorgeous pair of titanium druzy rings both went to the same lady. Her partner wanted her to have a back-up ring in case something happened to the first one.    Sometimes, a customer likes a particular style, but wants a different stone. Brand New Cuff Bracelets

Gorgeous new things have been happening at www.heartsabustin.com! I have three brand new cuff bracelets listed and ready for gift giving - whether that gift is for someone special or a treat for yourself! First up - Royston turquoise cuff. A...

Bronze - 19th Anniversary Metal

Bronze is an alloyed metal, a combination of copper and tin. It is the traditional metal of the 19th wedding anniversary. It is beautiful when it is shiny, and develops a wonderful natural patina on its own. It contains copper, which means it can be artificially oxidized to really enhance any wonderful texture that is added to it.  I offer a fantastic line of bronze cuffs and bangle bracelets, made to order for each customer. Get something for that special lady or man (I make them big enough for men, too!) or find one that you like for yourself.  Stripe...

It does have meaning, and not in relation to how the big guys use it. There is actually a difference between fine and sterling silvers. Fine silver is 99.9% silver with a little copper mixed in and is most usually found in precious metal clay pieces and the bezels used on handcrafted jewelry. It is softer and more malleable than sterling silver, which makes it ideal for surrounding a stone. Precious metal clay jewelry starts out...
